Deputy Secretary-General Yang Nong Meets CEO of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC, Asia
On June 29, Deputy Secretary-General Yang Nong met with Tony Shale, the CEO of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC, Asia, and discussed issues on cooperation of the two sides.
Mr. Yang said that the Euromoney is widely acclaimed in the international financial markets. The NAFMII has always maintained good communication with the Euromoney in the past. The two sides have broad prospects for cooperation in fields such as hosting international conferences, training programmes, and publications of journals and books. The NAFMII looks forward to increasing substantive cooperation with the Euromoney in every possible aspect.
Mr. Shale said, the bond market in China has great development potentials. In recent years, the NAFMIII has made substantial contributions in promoting the development of China bond market, and its work has been widely recognized by market participants. The Euromoney has been focused on the development of China bond market for a long time, and are very willing to cooperate with the NAFMII. The Euromoney hopes to bring the international market experiences into China; and helps China's inter-bank market enter the world stage through various forms.
