During the meeting, Secretary-General Xie Duo expressed his warm welcome to the visit of Ms. Madelyn Antoncic and introduced the development of China's bond market in recent years, as well as the efforts NAFMII has made as a self-regulatory organization in promoting market development and innovation and self-management.

Ms. Madelyn Antoncic said World Bank pays great attention to the development of China's financial markets, especially the progress of interbank bond market, and is also willing to participate more in the development of the Chinese market. She expressed hopes to continue efforts to enhance exchanges and communication between the two sides in the future.
