Dr. Yang Nong, Deputy Secretary General of NAFMII, led a delegation to Canada and the United States on 23-30 April, 2014.

The important session of the visit was to conduct further research on Caterpillar Financial Service Corporation (CFSC) and Caterpillar Inc. During the visit to CFSC, they presented a detailed account of its organizational structure, development history and business model. Two sides also went deep in topics of CFSC’s global financing strategy, portfolio performance, revenue and profit growth. Caterpillar Inc. introduced its production, operations and sales model in detail as well.

The delegation also visited the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) in Canada and the San Francisco Division of Moody's Investors Service Inc., gaining insights into the regulatory framework of Canadian securities industry, the development of US municipal bonds, US rating practices and rating industry reforms.
