To further enhance the understanding of market members towards the U. S. bond market, and allow them to gain an insight of the practices and latest trends of the bond market and risk management, NAFMII, upon the invitation of the Asia Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA) and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), held a senior bond market workshop (4th Session) from July 20 to August 1, 2014 in the United States. 26 senior executives and business elites from commercial banks, securities companies and insurance asset management companies, enterprises and other member units participated in the workshop.
Senior financial experts from such institutions as JPMorgan Chase & Co., Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), Moody's, Bloomberg and Performance Trust Capital Partners delivered lectures on multiple topics, including development status and trends of debt capital market in the United States, regulatory framework and risk management status of the U. S. bond market, market outlook, rating methods and processes of high-yield bonds, as well as asset management strategies. At the workshop, the delegation also visited the trading centers of New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), PIMCO, Performance Trust and other institutions, made field visit to and got insights into relevant financial market transactions.
